It’s an uncertain time for many immigrants and low-income families today. Our grantee partners are anxious about cuts to services that traditionally helped new immigrants adapt and strive in this country, such as ESL classes and job training programs.
— Kyung B. Yoon, KACF Executive Director
We Need To Act
We’ve created the Resilience Fund to help nonprofit organizations weather current and future storms.
By supporting the Resilience Fund, 100% of your donation addresses the needs of today, and also creates a long-term, sustainable infrastructure that will serve the Korean American community for years to come.
More importantly, your support is crucial, as immigrants and low-income families face some of the greatest challenges ever.
A Proven Partner That Makes A Difference
KACF has provided more than $6 million in grants to 270 projects.
We fund the highest performing nonprofit organizations in the community in job training programs, ESL classes, financial counseling and more.
We are equipping and empowering low-income immigrants to achieve economic self-sufficiency.
We are investing in strengthening our community organizations by providing strategic planning, board/staff development fundraising and program evaluation.
But it takes more than sheer grit and determination to achieve economic security. You can be part of promoting the resilience of our community.
Will You Make A Difference?
Support the Resilience Fund today and 100% of your donation addresses the needs of today, and also creates a long term sustainable infrastructure that will support the Korean American community for years to come.
KACF seeks to empower our community members to become effective philanthropists and community advocates. KACF is not only a grantmaker, but also a convener of community-based organizations and is considered a thought leader on issues affecting the local Korean American communities. The KACF Resilience Fund recognizes the generosity of donors who give towards KACF’s grantmaking.
